Kate Hudson Biography: Kate Hudson was born April 19, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Kate grew up with acting with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as parents, but it wasn't until Kurt Russell encouraged her to audition that Kate began acting. Her professional debut came with her one-episode character on "Party of Five". Her real break came with her role on the film 200 cigarettes, co-starring with many young Hollywood stars. Hudson's career went upward from there, one of her more recent roles being in the Joshua Jackson film Gossip.

Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson Biography: Born on Jan. 3, 1956 in Peekskill, New York but raised in Australia, Mel Gibson was the sixth of eleven kids. After attending the National Institute for Dramatic Art at the University of South Wales, Gibson soon landed the lead role in the movie Mad Max which became the highest grossing movie in Aussie history. The movie's sequel, Road Warrior, was a hit around the world and from there he made a number of acclaimed movies such as The Bounty and Mrs. Soffel. His next movie, Lethal Weapon, was a huge success as was his Oscar winning creation Bravehart. Recently, Gibson has starred in Ransom, Conspiracy Theory, Payback, and plans to star in and direct the upcoming movie Farenheit 451.

Kudrow intended to be a medical researcher, graduating from Vassar College in New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, but changed her mind when hearing about family friend Jon Lovitz's success, landing a spot on Saturday night live. She began acting with the Groundlings and before long had landed a recurring role on "Mad About You" as Ursula Buffay. Shortly after she landed a role on "Friends" as Phoebe Buffay and Ursula Buffay, a concurrent role with her previous one. She now acts in "Friends" and appears in movies such as the hit Hanging Up.

Matthew Mcconnaughey Biography: Matthew Mcconaughey was born on November 4, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas and won a part on the movie Dazed and Confused after meeting the casting director in a bar. From there Mcconaughey moved to Los Angeles and quickly won a role on the movie Boys on the Side. However, it wasn't until he played the lead in the Grisham adaptation A Time to Kill that Mcconaughey got his big break. Since then he has appeared in such high-profile movies as Contact, Amistad, The Newton Boys, and Edtv and has proven himself a very bankable star.
